about time...
Feb 2009 This site was recommended by someone else on here and thought I'd check it out. Started my diet and exercise after a normal visit to a cardiologist and thought it was about time. Have lost 17lbs in the 7 weeks before logging on this site. Feb 2010 - I started on Sparkpeople about this time last year tracking my weight after already losing 17lbs...I wasn't sure how I would do but kept going and by the end of Dec. 09, I had lost 65lbs...!!!! Feb 2009 This site was recommended by someone else on here and thought I'd check it out. Started my diet and exercise after a normal visit to a cardiologist and thought it was about time. Have lost 17lbs in the 7 weeks before logging on this site. Feb 2010 - I started on Sparkpeople about this time last year tracking my weight after already losing 17lbs...I wasn't sure how I would do but kept going and by the end of Dec. 09, I had lost 65lbs...!!!! This year I lost some of my motivation as I had already reached a personal goal (size) that I hadn't expected to get to...It took me until now (this year) to get back on track. I've set new goals and am starting again this year!! For me I am committed to getting back on track and keeping up with my lifestyle changes. Jan 2011 - Funny how heading to the BEACH can become great MOTIVATION. My fabulous niece is getting married on the beach in May and I want to look as good as I can. Back to tracking my food and working out!!

I'm currently counting calories and trying to avoid most carbs & starches like breads, pastas, potatoes. Exercise: Couch 2 5 K program 3 days a week Elliptical machine 20-30 minutes - 3 days a week
