TIME TO UPDATE

Yes, it has been a while since I updated this page! And I really want to change photos as I have many in my computer but always depend on daughter or daughter-in-law to help me with that. Maybe I will try it on my own.
Right now I am at weight that one weight loss company told me should be goal. But that is still overweight and I really want to lose 10 more lbs. to be where SP recommends.

Right now I am at weight that one weight loss company told me should be goal. But that is still overweight and I really want to lose 10 more lbs. to be where SP recommends.
I am very proud of the exercise I now get when in the beginning I could not walk for 5 minutes due to a bad knee and hip. Today I get as many as 130 minutes of exercise. Especially love the water aerobics, but also enjoy walking and the recumbent bike.
My husband of 56 years supports and encourages me all the time. And I have just started challenges which I enjoy even though I am not a competitive person. But they do keep me on my toes. During the 56 days of the 2010 Winter 5 % Challenge I hope to lose 10 lbs., a real challenge for me!

To Be Healthy and now to maintain my weight loss.
FAVORITE SAYINGS:
Be not afraid of going slowly; be afraid only of standing still.
Worrying is like a rocking chair, it gives you something to

My Program:
The Nutrition Tracker is my constant buddy as I use it faithfully every day. With my bad knee I didn't think I could exercise much, but now am up to a 40-45 minute walk and 30 minutes of riding the recumbent bike. Losing weight has certainly helped!

Hi Carol, Wish I was really going to Cambodia but that's the 5% challenge that started today.

OH, I know what they are now! I've seen them advertised on t.v. What a nice mother's day gift & one you can really enjoy! Have a piece of pineapple for me.

Hi Carol
Was reading a comment you made on a blog about not being allowed back on a certain team. Honey if there is a team here on Spark that won't let a person join, then they shouldn't have a Spark team.
This site and I believe it's member are for helping and reaching out to one another.
please don't get discouraged .
I too have found success with Spark. But like other long term commitments sometimes other things start to get in the way. I rush through logging in at times, and I feel guilty but at least I am trying to stay on track. I know without Spark I would not have the encouragement I need to continue. At least not at this weight. It's so easy to gain and so hard to lose.
I miss some of the friends I have known here on Spark, wonder what happened to them and what they are doing, or how they are doing.
well, it's time for this Sparker to call it a night.
Take care.
