I am doing cardio everyday. I do Ab workouts 4 times a week. I do bootcamp 3 days a week. I bike, run and swim. Training for a half ironman is very tough and takes lots of time. I believe I can do this...

Got my longest ride thus far this year...in the rain no less. I completely bonked at the end from the cold and not noshing enough, but hell with it - it was great anyway! 80 miles in the past two days.

Regarding my cadence. I have a slow cadence (avg 67) and tend to live in my big gear in front and small gear in the back. I have strong quads but I know I need to drop down and start spinning more - i am powering through these rides instead of working on my exercise endurance. Suggestions? Today I tried spinning up to 80 for one song on my player, then dropping back to my usual cadence for the next, back and forth - definitely worked me harder...
