Goals for Life 1. Be Happy 2. Be Healthy 3. Be Fabulous Hi! My name is Alice I am a stay at home mommy to Aurora Lily who was born April 20, 2012. We are a cloth-diapering, baby-wearing, breastfeeding, baby-led weaning, pescatarian, attachment parenting style family. Yes hippies. My fiance and I relocated to Denver, CO in January 2012 since my company was moving from the Bay Area - I ended up leaving my job in July since I was unable to keep breastfeeding while returning to work, so ultimately we made the choice that I would stay home since breastfeeding was such a high priority for us. This has been a tough move since all of my friends and family are in the San Francisco area and meeting new friends out here has been really hard. I would love to meet like-minded fitness friends out here and mommies too! My fiance and I are hoping that we can move to Portland or back to the west coast as we are not really enjoying living out here. My original goal (and still a goal after having our beautiful baby girl is born) is to reach & maintain 130 pounds (starting weight: 220) with the help of SparkPeople, friends & this new life that I have made for myself. I have been on SP for quite some time, and before I was pregnant I was about 184 pounds the lowest weight that I can ever remember being and I felt amazing and I can't wait to get back there & keep on losing & becoming more healthy. I don't believe in diets, I don't believe in depriving myself of things but I do believe in moderation. We have one life here and I intend on enjoying it - I am going to eat chocolate, maybe some garlic fries at a baseball game and I am going to and smile every day. I have been a vegetarian & on and off vegan for 3 years sometimes eating fish while making sure I am getting proper nutrition while breastfeeding my little one.
