Getting back to me

Hi. I'm Tracy. I'm 33 years old, wife to a wonderful husband, and mother to a gorgeous 3 year old girl and precious 19 month old baby boy. I've spent the past 3 or so years of my life either pregnant or breast feeding someone, it seems. But now I'm not breastfeeding or pregnant and I'm ready to reclaim my body. It's time to lose the weight, gain my energy, and remember that part of me that used to LIVE for excercise and fitness. (Where did that girl go?!) It's time to find a better ...
Hi. (Where did that girl go?!) It's time to find a better balance of caring for my family and caring for myself.

My ultimate goal is to be a healthy energetic Mom and role model for my children. This year, I would also like to run a half marathon, and maybe next year a full marathon...we'll see.

I feel best when I am eating a very clean natural diet, with almost no processed foods. I try to stick with foods God created, and stay away from chemical additives. I rarely count calories anymore, and never feel hungry or deprived.

I have also eliminated most grains, wheat and dairy, because I have difficulty digesting them. Since making these changes in my diet, I feel better that ever! I don't have the stomachaches I used to get all the time, I have a lot of energy, and the weight comes off steadily.

I love really tough, kick butt workouts, like bootcamp, kettlebells, spinning and running. I also enjoy yoga and if I had the time, I could just walk and walk for hours, but usually I don't have that much time alas the "kick butt" workouts.

My Goals:
My goals are to lose the weight and keep it off, by incorporating a BALANCED, healthy lifestyle.

My Program:
I am eating around 1400 calories per day and drinking at least 4 liters of water per day. Keeping my diet as natural as possible.

I am currently taking a temporary break from the joint pounding boot camp type workout that I love in order to let my poor joints heal.
Instead I will be participating in pilates, yoga, weight lifting and low inpact cardio workouts such as walking and eliptical machine.

Hi Tracy, Congrats on the new move! I just read many of your blogs and saw that you had juiced a few months back and wanted to know if you still have kept the weight off and if some of the juicing habits stayed with you. I am currently on day 31 of juicing and trying to plan ahead of time how I will break the fast which I find a bit scary :S
Hugs,
Ven

For some reason I thought you saw it on facebook when I announced it, or else I would have sent you a private message and told you! LOL!

Are you all settled in the new home? Did you all buy or are you renting for now? How close is this from Granger, where you used to live?
