On the way to a new Me
After a wonderfully successful first half of 2011 where I lost 57 lbs with Sparkpeople, I faced some difficulties - work and financial related - that threw me back. Now, several pounds heavier and still very-very stressed, I have decided to take control of my life once more and this time go the full distance. I did it once, I can do it again and I am wiser for my past experience.

I am 38, mother of a gorgeous two year old and morbidly obese. I do not like that term but it brings home the reality of my situation. My shape and weight have ruled my life for far too long and I am determined to change this in 2011. I am on my way to a helathier, better looking, new Me. So watch this space!

I am a great Harry Potter fan, loved the books especially.
I like going to the cinema and enjoy a diverse selection of films from animation to serious drama, period pieces, action thrillers, rom coms... escapism is the word!
I am a bit like Hermione in the HP books in that I love reading books and really think I have found a lot of answers in them. Currently I am reading (auto)biograhies of successful business people to try and get into the mentality of an enterpreneur (yes, I know, hopeless case!).
I have an interest in behavioural psychology, coaching, NLP and similar.
I am very logical and analytical, too agreeable for my own good and usually indecisive which has cost me!
I hope one day to add things like cycling, rowing, ice skating, skiing and running on my list of hobbies but I am not there yet!
