Hi there just stopping by to say hello and see how you are doing? I saw your blogpost mentioning that you have chosen to move more towards swimming and 5k marathons instead of long distance running. I think that is a great decision, do what works for you! Also I can relate to your eating habits slipping and the resulting weight gain, I had lost 20 lbs in the fall, and then for a variety of stress filled reasons and the holidays season, and the winter, my eating habits slipped, it was a trainwreck! And I gained the weight back plus I think maybe a little more! But now I am continuing my health and wellness journey and have bought a juicer so that in addition to blender made smoothies I can also have fresh veggie juice (in addition to other foods). I can make a batch in the morning and have some then, take some to work with me in a thermos for a mid afternoon pick me up, and the rest can be waiting in the fridge for me when I get home. I'll combine this with sensible other meals, and add in meditation (even just 5 minutes a day helps) which has worked well for me in the past, for more peace and balance. So that's my plan. :)
You have come so far, and are inspiring, good luck on your fitness adventures and recovering from your injuries.
