My Goals:
My goal is to be as healthy as possible. I want to have very little body fat, and a lot of muscle. My estimated fat pound loss goal is approximately 150 lbs more or less. I have chosen to start my new life style with spark people and all of the challenges and support that comes with being a part of this community. I would of course like to lose pounds and inches as healthily as possible. My major goal is just to stick to my goals daily and learn to forgive myself if i mess up once in a while.

My Program:
I am going to make sure that I get outside for 20 minutes daily no matter what. I'm going to stretch daily no matter what. This is not my work out plan, its just going to become my new life style. I'm going to start with only this for a week or two, and then slowly begin to incorporate a healthy and suitable work out plan.

I am eating between 1800- 2000 calories per day (which is 500 less then my body burns per day, and much less then I was consuming before I chose to change my life style). I'm also watching my carbs, protein, fat, and sodium intake.

I don't want to jump into a severe calorie change like 1500 cals a day or less, bc its a new life style, not a diet, and I want this to be something I can live with. I read when you start reducing your calories, you eat 500 less than what your daily calorie burning is (including your life style, but before you exercise), and then each time you hit a Plato, you reduce by about 250 calories. So that is

Personal Information:
My name is Misty, I'm from Southern California and my email address is Misty_Dawn_84@hotmail.com :)

I've been battling my weight all of my life and despite my greatest efforts to be healthy and well, i have failed over and over again and remain a disgrace to myself. I want to change that permanently.

Hey there! Work hard! You have proven to yourself that you have made progress before..... get back on the band wagon! You are completely worth it! Don't ever stop reaching for what you want. I remember loosing 10 lbs and then going right back up to my starting point. You need to jump back on to meet your goals. Keep up the motivation! You are worth it! Do it for yourself and the health of the rest of your life!
