Well, after being on this journey for the past 5 months, I have to say... it's been easy ...

Well, after being on this journey for the past 5 months, I have to say... it's been easy and hard. Its easy to keep going when you're seeing results, but its also easy to slip up and fall backwards. Its hard to keep going when you don't see those results or hit a plateau. Its hard to go to the gym every day and count your calories. But, in order to get to be the me that I want to be, these are the things that have kept me going. I'm excited to see what the next five months has to bring me.

4/01/2012-
Seven months into my journey and 100 pounds down! I can't wait to see what else I can do now with this weight gone! So many things I never thought possible because of being overweight. No more! I did this for ME :-)

8/04/2012-
199!!!! HOLY COW! I'm more excited about this than I was losing 100 pounds! I haven't seen 199 since 8th grade. That was...... 15 years ago?! wow!!!

11/03/2012-
187! It took a while to get here from 199, almost exactly three months, but it was worth it. It was good to start to learn how to maintain and see what I am capable of. 187 was where I wanted to stop, but I think it's a good place to start maintaining for sure and see where I go from there.

I'm a hardcore zombie movie lover. I've got my own escape plan if it ever happens! Working on rule #1 in Zombieland... cardio! Can't be fat and still run away from a zombie! :-)

My mom finds the best cheapo sunglasses! ;)

I'm a little worried about what the scale will be like at the end of May. This hasn't been the best month for working out for me, with the craziness of graduating, then my grandpa, then living at home with my parents for a few weeks. But I am making good choices and pumping that iron when I can! I'm excited, too!Eek!
