Health & a Ph.D. go hand-in-hand
As I work through the dissertation phase of my Ph.D. program, I've committed to get fit. Exercising serves as a great alternative to spending time writing, and controlling my diet counteracts all of the time spent sitting at the laptop. To eat is a necessity, but to eat intelligently is an art. —François de La Rochefoucauld, French writer

I also do a variety of other activities for cardio and strength training each week. My eating plan is based on getting lots of water, fruits, veggies, and being mindful of eating for balance and good health.
