I am worth the effort.

Action is everything when it comes to reaching goals and leading a meaningful life. - M. Kramer, SP From a peak weight of 142 three years ago, I dropped to 130 after my first few months on SP. Then I gained 10 pounds back after going on some medication and falling into old, bad habits - mostly too much wine and too much food. I consider myself something of a health-food junkie - I eat extremely healthy foods, I just have no portion control. I also have celiac disease and a number of other food allergies that can make it difficult to eat well when I travel for work - which is often. As of June 2011, I reached my goal weight of 125 and then some - although I have adjusted my weight tracker to reflect a new goal, really I just want to be able to maintain. I was stuck at a L-O-N-G plateau at 130 (for almost the past two YEARS!), so while I have been able to finally shed the last few pounds, I am less certain about my ability to maintain this new weight. And even though I have surpassed my weight loss goals by a good bit, I know how I want my body to look and feel, and I'm just not there yet. As I am turning 36 this year, I realize that I am also looking for more than physical changes. I am hoping to be able to create a life that I love and find things that I am passionate about. I hope that my fitness journey will help me do that.

My Goals:
I reached my goal weight in January 2012. I was in maintenance until February 2013, when I realized my "maintenance" was slipping. I'm forging ahead with new focus to get back to where I want to be! 125 - Buy myself one new item of clothing. 122 - Get a massage. 120 - Get a haircut AND color at a *fancy* salon - no more Cost-Cutters! 118 - This may not be a realistic or desirable goal, so I haven't come up with anything as a reward - maybe new shoes?
My Program:
Boot Camp: 3x a week, 1 our a day. Martial Arts: 3 times a week, 1 1/2 hours each class Ultimate Frisbee: 1x a week, 2.75 hours a day. The Running of the Dogs: 6-7 times a week, 30-55 minutes a day. CrossFit: The plan is to go 3x a week once my shoulder heals.
Personal Information:
I'm "from" a lot of places, but I currently live just outside of Boulder, CO. A great place to be.
