A note to myself...

Sunday, January 22, 2012

Dear Jennifer,
Ok, here's the deal. I am doing great with your water intake. Keep it up. emoticon It's now 6:30pm, & I just finished my dinner, Sunday night, 1/22/12. I logged my food (for the 1st time... but I have to start somewhere, & see how easy it was? It just took a few extra minutes to do, & the world didn't stop or implode.) SO, I CAN keep doing it... Here's the thing.. I have just under 700 cal for the day. Sure, I can have a snack, but it won't add a whole lot cal -wise. So, I need to eat more... & make sure there's NO MORE munching at night. Today was an off day for exercise. I'm jumping in with both feet this time, no holds barred. Everything is SO chaotic in my life right now... I need to focus on something, so it might as well be my health. This is Day 1 of my new life, the beginning of my lifestyle change. Nowhere to go but up...things are starting to click in my mind & kind of make sense....keep up the awesome work, Jennifer, you are SO WORTH IT!!!!!!!!!! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Love you,
Jennifer

Logging my food was the beginning of the last 90 days of joy for me -- lost 40 pounds, got off half my beta blockers, and increased fitness by a mile. Hope it goes just as well for you. This is a great start!

    This is SO emoticon !!!

This is exactly how you need to be talking to yourself each & every day. Will it be easy...not always. Will some days be hard...absolutely. Can you do it...yes, with hard work & determination. Are you worth it....Definitely!!! You must want it....you keep coming back, don't you!?! We haven't given up on you, so don't ever
give up on yourself...no matter how many times you have to push 'restart'.

    Jennifer,
Great job, and you are very VERY much worth it.
To add calories and what not, try a piece of toast with peanut butter. its healthy and filling, and will help with that low calorie count. Be sure to get enough calories (good rule is at least 1200) or your body will go into starvation mode and you will actually GAIN. Not good.

Keep up the good job. Everyone has to start somewhere. The log and the water are a big step.
