ok, ok, so it's been a while.
yeah, my weight hasn't really budged.
yes, i'm still experiencing the uncomfortableness of being overweight.
So week before last I had a good run. I mean, for the week I abstained from wheat and dairy (mostly). I lost 3.5 pounds that week! And the bloat was reduced! I felt so much better!
Fast forward and I'm struggling again. Not because I am craving the old foods, but because my life is no longer my own. I am at the will of the family dynamic. Sick kid? The schedule is thrown off. Sick mother? Everything goes into flux. Mom went into the hospital and I was almost hungry enough to eat HER hospital food! I lived on coffee, granola bars and fresh fruit and whatever my classmates brought to class last Saturday! 3 Krispy Kremes is such a disgrace!!!
So, today I went for a walk. Now, I know what worked last time I lost weight and kept it off (until baby #3 came along and then I sprained my ankle). I started working out. My food selections got better - who really wants to work that hard and then sabotage it?!?!?
So, if you need advice - just go for a walk. Put one foot in front of the other. You have a life to live!!!
