Day 2 has been pretty good, and my body is dying for a run but sadly I am stuck inside studying for my exam. I will have to take a run after dinner to get the blood pumping and help my focus.
Breakfast: 1 grapefruit with 1 tsp of white sugar, 5 strawberries, 2 cups of black coffee
Snack 1: 20g sunflower seeds (unslated) and 5 more strawberries
Lunch: spinach, cucumber, bean sprouts, cherry tomatoes, avocado, and 1 tsp olive oil
Snack 2: honeydew melon, banana and 70g of natural yoghurt
Dinner: 2 hard boiled eggs, 2 stalks of celery, a carrot or two, and red bell pepper
Dessert: 1 square of 70% cocao dark chocolate with a cup of green tea
It sounds like such a lame/weak meal plan for the day - but it's doable and I don't feel tired or that I am really starving my body of nutrients. I wouldn't exactly call it a "cleanse", but it's the closest I will ever come to detox.
