i did it.
happy fourth of july!
i ran a 5k.
i hadn't run one in 25 years.
my goal was better than 40 minutes and i did it in 38 ... i was hoping i could do 12 minute miles but i did them in 12.30ish .....
so there's my time to beat for my next one ....

the best part is that my whole family did it with me ...
husband: 24 minutes
older daughter:36min.
son:37 min
me:38
little girl: 44

yay yay yay

and ...
i jogged the whole entire way ... every single solitary step ... never walked .....
that made me double happy ...
