I am the same way, that is why I eat my breakfast when I get to work. (I have a desk job) I get to work 10-20 minutes early so i am usually done eating before 8am. My breakfast is always the same, greek yogurt with 1/2 cup of a granola cereal mixed in. Good carbs and protein to keep me full.

Egg white omelet with veggies and a morning star farm sausage patty
OR
Puffed Kamut(2 cups) and 1 cup of Soy Milk
OR
A premium protein shake(from Costco) and a Kashi bar
OR
Oatmeal with raisins(sweetened with organic grade B maple syrup and cinnamon)

I cook my omelets the night before, dice them and heat it up in the morning. Ditto for the oatmeal - cook on the weekend and heat up in the AM.

1 cup of thick rolled oats, cooked with water in microwave for 2 minutes. Throw on some frozen blueberries. Add cup of black coffee and a calcium supplement and my morning is set! Really keeps me full, and it's super easy.

I have been doing egg white omelets with tons of veggies. The egg whites are super filling for as few calories as they have and it's the best way I've found to load up on veggies first thing in the morning.

If I don't start my day with protein, I am better off not eatting at all until lunch. Ie, continental "breakfasts" bite the big one in my book. I get seriously dizzy within an hour. NOT remotely worth it. If I have to attend one due to work obligations, I eat before I go, and skip the pastries (sweets for BREAKFAST?), juices and bagels they inevitably throw down.

Five times a week I'll probably do something to eggs. Poaching them is always good. Real eggs from the Farmer's markets are preferred, never from a carton. Non-oxidized yolk IS good for you.

Other times I simply re-heat leftovers. In the winter, I may make real oatmeal (NEVER instant -- man, does that stuff ever taste evil!), with a touch of whole milk or a touch of coconut milk on top. I've now weaned myself off the brown sugar with that, and sprinkle on bunches of straight-up cinnamon. Recently, my uncle (from our shared southern background) reminded me that a small pat of butter on top isn't bad at all -- although I'll use the butter from grass-pastured cows, thank you. I don't do oatmeal with any frequency, however.

Got rid of the ticker cuz my scale decided to flatter me unduly. I haven't re-gained, just got a better, honest, scale.

Just because you steam it, doesn't mean you can't add herbs and spices. (A gripe at those insipid restaurant "healthy choice" menu selections.)

I have had trouble with this too. But if I do fahe yogurt, granola, &fruit, I'm ok for awhile, or egg and brown rice or Ezekiel toast, I'm ok. I like the pinterest blogger idea where u bake ur eggs ahead of time(throw in veggies!) and freeze with an English muffin, microwave with cheese and u got healthy &fast! I just get hungry for more with oatmeal or cereal tho. Salad for lunch at work isn't enough, I try to add protein, a cup of soup, or brown rice and beans. I'm starving between 3-5:( so I want to take my reliv supplement or nuts/fruit instead of potato chips!

I have to have something I can eat on the road, or I won't eat. My choice is a Luna bar, and at 9 grams of protein, it keeps me full until lunch. They come in many different flavors. My favorites are Peanut Butter and the Oatmeal Raisin. Lemon Zest is pretty yummy, too.

I have 1/2 cup of Ezekial 4:9 Cinnamon Raisin cereal with 1/2 a cup of Vanilla Almond milk. I also add a serving of fresh fruit....usually strawberries. It may not sound like alot....but it keeps me full until lunch. I have to make myself eat my mid-morning snack. And, it is full of protein....not something you can say about most cereals.

I've liked eating chocolate soy milk (6 oz), a peice of toasted multi grain bread, a slice of cheese and a fried egg with very little oil to put on top of my cheese and bread and a pinch of shredded cheese on top of the egg to melt onto it. Way less the 1 /4 cup. As I said a pinch. And a serving or two of fresh fruit.

My doctor has insited that I have to have protien for breakfast and to eat weather I am hungry or not.

Some times I have fresh fruit and a serving of low fat cottage cheese.

I've even bought some yougurt drinks as part of my protien.

At least I'm eating breakfast now where I wasn't before. It's off to a good start i think.

Have a joyful day and God Bless.

Great ideas! I have been trying the meal plans on my tracker and they are really good. I just add my own stuff sometimes because I need some fat and protein as well. I DO eat bacon and the whole egg. Two slices of bacon is good for me to track, but I don't eat it everyday. Hard-boiled eggs have been my go to breakfast a lot this summer. Oatmeal will become the usual again when my kids get back from summer vacation. I eat it with greek yogurt (Chobani RULES) because it won't keep me full for a long time like it used to. I like the 2% Chobani with almond butter and honey. 6oz of the Chobani, and 1 Tbsp. each of the almond butter and honey. Mmmmmemoticon

Filling Oatmeal Breakfast: 1/4 cup steel cut oatmeal, 1 banana, 1 t flax seeds, 1 T slivered almonds, 1 T sunflower seeds, 1 T currants, 1/4 c Pomegranate juice, 1/2 c berries.
Mix everything in a bowl and microwave.
Lots of calories out of the gate in the morning, but with no time for snacks it holds me over 'til lunch with no sugar-crash.
Prepare the oatmeal in batches in advance to save time.

When I'm too pressed for time to cook, I like to toast a whole wheat English muffin, or half a bagel, add a T reduced fat cream cheese, and top it with some capers and 1 oz of smoked salmon (and some red onion if I have it). It feels like a treat, but it comes in under 250 calories, and satisfies me all morning.

a big bowl of oatmeal with fruit and chopped nuts and wheat germ or ground flax seed will keep me going until lunch.

I love love love bacon and eggs but not exactly the healthiest breakfast so I modified it. 2-3 qrtr cups egg substitute which is about 35 cal per qrtr and 3 pieces of turkey bacon which is about 35-40 cal ea. Sometimes if i'm really craving it i'll throw a piece of lowfat cheese on it. Mmmmmmm.....

I like to have a small piece of banana bread, a smoothie and a piece of fresh fruit. Other days I may have a glass of water with two small quesadillas.

Emotion may help us get started in the right direction, but it is rarely there at the finish line. Sooner or later we must press forward without the support of emotion and employ discipline.

I usually have two or three eggs, some sort of meat, and then some sort of veggie and/or berries. Today I had three eggs, 4 strips of bacon, and a salad of spinach and strawberries with a little balsamic vinegar and walnut oil as dressing. Wasn't ready for lunch until around 3pm, and I had breakfast around 8:30.

I have been having the same breakfast for years and it keeps me very satisfied. It isn't super low in calories,It is about 380 cal. It is a cup of plain non-fat greek yoghurt, a scoop (a little bit less) of vanilla whey protein, 1/2 cup of berries, strawberries or blueberries, 1/2 cup of Kahi GoLean, and 1/2 cup Fiber One. This has over 50 Grams of protein and so keeps me very satisified and so I have a salad for lunch.

Protein protein protein :) If I'm in a rush, I might even just grab some beef jerky. It'll tide me over 'til I can organise something more substantial.

I will usually have oatmeal, sometimes I add some dry cereal to it. Another favorite is a healthy smoothie & fruit. emoticon

I was having the same problem and I found a SparkRecipe that I love:) It is the slow cooker steel cut oats and then I add 1/2 cup of berries or fruit. It is around 350 calories but keeps me going for several hours. I eat breakfast around 7am and don't eat again till lunch at 11am.

I LOVE two scrambled eggs in a corn tortilla with salsa. Only about 250 calories and keeps me very satisfied :)

I make a 1/2 cup of plain oatmeal (like the Quaker quick minute, not the flavored ones with sugar) and I add a scoop of vanilla protein powder for sweetness, along with about an ounce of chopped fruit (and cinnamon if I feel like it). I've used raisins, cranberries, pears, oranges, cherries....you name it, I've tried it. It keeps me really full, tastes good, and is good for me. My BF likes banana protein, and Splenda for added sweetness. That's too sweet for me but to each his own. It's under 300 calories, so sometimes I add a boiled egg because I like em' emoticon
