I am also reaching for the fruit instead! I had such a craving for some chocolate last night but I settled for a delicious apple that took care of the craving without making me feel guilty! :)

A handful of almonds does the trick for me. The egg thing is good too. I boil them and take them to work, when I have a break I eat. But my go to snack is almonds. They are good for you and really fill the need when I'm famished.

The pounds are sliding off...

That's my go-to tactic as well. I use canned (no sugar added) pears, fresh strawberries, and bananas for my sugar fixes. There's a Soft-Serve Banana Ice Cream recipe on Spark that I'm dying to try.

i went grocery shopping last night and bought a whole bag of apples which normally i dont keep too much fruit in my house it came in handy last night at work when i ate my apple instead of some other dessertemoticon

The protein and whey smoothies are really good too! Good luck! I have a lot of hope for myself this week. I had on a pair of jeans Saturday that were loose on me for the first time in an age. I'm going to weight myself today. I'm so excited! I really hope the scale doesn't ground me too hard!

I try to combine a carb such as fruit with a protein so if you add a little protein to the smoothies it may help as well.

Try some protein for your afternoon snack. Add some low-fat cheese, yogurt or even peanut butter - melted for a dip for an apple - 1 TBSP is more than enough. The protein will keep the hunger at bay.

That's my goal this week.
Last week I did really well with eating no cookies, and I'm so grateful for the amazing advice that people shared here on this team to help me out.
I'm still having the four o' clock eating cravings - but for this week, I'll be reaching for the fruit! I've also been reading some of the fruit smoothie recipes, which I may experiment with too.
