I went down and up too. I did end up losing weight but not quite 2kg. I have been better about exercise and eating though, although in the last week the hot weather has had me reaching for icecream more than I would like. Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

Ugh, I forgot about this. I don't think I even gave a starting weigh-in actually, but I also didn't weigh this morning as yesterday was ... a write off.

Well, Happy Valentines's everyone. I managed to drop weight and gain it. Aint that the story of my life. Official weight for VD is 95.3 So I am back where I started !!!!

Deb ... I find frozen berries helpful when fresh fruit is gone. Throw a few on breakfast, or in natural yogurt, or make a smoothie, etc.

What a fantastic little group you guys have!
I must drink more myself. I might put a bottle near my computer so i can drink while sitting down.
My daily goal is to reach 25,000 steps. But i must go to the gym twice a week, do a circut there. And swimming either at the beach or gym twice a week.
I think Valentine's day is a great day to work towards... go hard everyone!

I had missed a couple of gym sessions. I always go up & down. It's my life!!! Still...lower than start 95.4 I guess. I'll keep working on it. 2kg... how hard can it be???

Talk about ups and downs in this journey!! Arrggghh I WAS down to 94.7 on 13 January. Argh Now back up to 95.1 today 17 January.

You are welcome to join in. The 2kg posted loss goal is from last Friday, so you can use whatever weigh-in was closest and aim for 4.4lbs. :)

I'd like to join in here. I just have to remember that it's in kilos not pounds .. lol. Water shouldn't be a problem for me, the exercise, especially strength, is something I have to work to keep doing.

Okay, how is the weight going? I was 78.8 starting, and 78.9 this morning (I know, I know). I'm just pleased I got back down to that, I've been 80.4 this week!
WEEK TWO CHALLENGE 5+ F&V (fruit and veg) daily At least 3 sessions of 30m+ "hard" cardio work

Well done Lisa. I am back at work so down goes times to the gym, up hopefully...goes workouts at home and weekends to the gym...mmm...one hopes anyway. But, I walked home from work today, 50 minutes, then walked the dog for another 30. That has to help huh?? No weigh in for me till end of the month.

Well I got 18 glasses of water yesterday! Kind of overshot the mark. LOL
And got my exercise. Ran up Hackthorne Road. 16.5 minutes. (Only to the first intersection with Dyer's Pass).

Well I'm up to 330 cardio minutes so far, in three days. :) So 600 in five weeks is going to be no problem.
Didn't get 6 glasses of water yesterday though. Will try harder today.

11/1-6 glasses, 2.5hrs heavy cleaning at motel
12/1-8 glasses, 3hrs at motel
13/1-8 glasses, 2hr walk, 30 mins S/T

Half way through my water now! It's so easy! You just put a bottle beside the PC. I went to grab it for a quick drink before I head off and realised it was almost empty already! So I downed it all. Now I only need one more bottle!
:) My approach to water this week is going to be "I can have all the diet coke I want - AFTER 6 glasses of water!"

Okay here's a challenge just for us kiwis. Valentine's is coming up in just over a month - five weeks.
Challenge is from now to Valentine's:
Lose 2kg Clock over 600 cardio minutes Have 10 strength training sessions
Who is with me? I'm thinking five weekly challenges as well. Starting with Jan 9-15 drink 6 glasses of water a day and get 10m of exercise every single day!
