My husband likes the saying if Momma aint happy aint no one happy. It is important to have me time. I plan time for myself every day to ensure I get my exercise in. If I take time for myself I have more to give to others in my role as mom,etc

Retreat
I took time for a spiritual retreat yesterday.

I was feeling pretty stressed out from caring for my husband and moving into our house necessitated by my husband falling twelve feet and breaking his back. I was eating everything in sight, but a day of connecting with God and planning my schedule has really helped.

Maintaining means calories in is approximately equal to calories out. If you've been doing a lot of cardio to burn off pounds, I wouldn't suggest stopping that - but you might want to tone it down. Similarly, build up the calories - FINALLY - you can have a snack or 2.
